What we're looking for

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated expert level of clinical knowledge, expertise and skills in complex contemporary clinical practice, and evidence-based mental health service provision to adults diagnosed with personality disorder and eating disorder.
• Work collaboratively within a complex stakeholder and systemic framework with internal Queensland Health Services, and external government, non-government, and private health sector service providers to achieve the best outcomes for the client.
• Demonstrated ability to provide operational leadership, strategic direction, and management to a multidisciplinary, multi-specialist community mental health team.
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in quality improvement, service evaluation and research initiatives on a local and State-wide basis.

Mandatory Requirements

• Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
• Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
• This role provides health, counselling and support services that involve children and will require a blue card.
