Your Impact

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide evidence-based care to patients with complex and high-acuity needs while supporting patients and families through challenging and often life-changing experiences.

You will:

• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred ICU care
• Manage patients requiring advanced critical care interventions, including mechanical ventilation
• Collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team
• Support patients and families throughout recovery, rehabilitation and end-of-life care
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety and clinical excellence initiatives
• Act as a role model for professional practice and compassionate care

About You

You are a confident and compassionate ICU nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience, including mechanical ventilation
• Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Australian working rights
• Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care/ICU (or currently undertaking)
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Working With Children Check
• Knowledge of and compliance with ACQSHC National Standards

Desirable

• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $40.26 - $56.54 per hour.
