About the role

Our Caboolture office is looking for a motivated and reliable Soil Technician to join the team. You’ll be hands-on in the lab, carrying out a range of soil tests in line with Australian Standards.

This role is a great fit for a recent school leaver or someone looking to get started in laboratory and construction materials testing. No previous experience is needed — we’ll provide full onsite training for the right person. We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, show up with a good attitude, and grow with us long term.

What you'll be doing

o   Carry out soil testing in our NATA-accredited laboratory, following Australian Standards

o   Record test results accurately and clearly

o   Help look after lab equipment and keep the work area clean and safe

o   Work with the Laboratory Manager and the rest of the team to get jobs done on time and meet client expectations

What we’re looking for

o   Comfortable using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, and SharePoint

o   Construction Industry White Card, or willingness to get one

o   Flexible with hours when needed

o   Good communication and problem-solving skills

o   A strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn

o   Australian manual driver’s licence preferred

o   Able to work well on your own and as part of a team in a busy environment

o   Australian citizenship or permanent residency
