Practice & Supervision Lead

Are you an experienced practice leader passionate about reflective supervision, quality practice, and supporting teams to deliver exceptional outcomes?

Coast Shelter is seeking an experienced and values-driven Practice & Supervision Lead to strengthen and embed high-quality, evidence-informed practice across our organisation. This is a unique opportunity to influence service delivery across a diverse range of homelessness, youth, domestic and family violence, and community support programs while mentoring leaders and enhancing practice capability across the organisation. The role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and plays a key role in ensuring our Models of Care are translated into consistent, high-quality service delivery.

The Role

As the Practice & Supervision Lead, you will:

• Lead and promote high-quality, consistent practice across programs.
• Facilitate reflective group supervision sessions teams.
• Support Program Managers in complex case management and risk-related matters.
• Strengthen staff capability through coaching mentoring and training.
• Review and enhance organisational Models of Care.
• Support responses to high-risk incidents and emerging practice issues.
• Promote consistent risk assessment and management practices across services.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and evidence-informed practice.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working strategically while remaining connected to frontline practice and supporting leaders to achieve outstanding outcomes.

All About You

You will bring:

• A four-year degree qualification in Social Work or Psychology.
• Significant experience in reflective supervision or group supervision within complex care environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as:
• Domestic and Family Violence (DFV)
• Child Protection
• Homelessness
• Mental Health
• Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD)
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to coach, mentor and influence leaders.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience or qualifications in Safe & Together, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) or other relevant practice frameworks will be highly regarded.
