About the role
The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body representing 148 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). ACCHOs deliver comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.
The Director, Maternal and Child Health leads NACCHO's national policy, program and advocacy efforts to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mothers, children and families. Through strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement and evidence-based policy development, you will influence national health reform, support the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sector and drive initiatives that deliver meaningful and lasting impact for Communities. Leading a small team, you will work across government, the sector and NACCHO to ensure community priorities are reflected in programs, policies and advocacy at a national level.
