A highly-regarded accommodation and hospitality business is seeking experienced Hospitality Workers to join its busy team!

SkillQuest Solutions is seeking motivated and reliable Hospitality Workers on behalf of our client, located in Ceduna, South Australia. The well-established accommodation business provides quality motel accommodation services to travellers and visitors and features an on-site restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisine alongside a range of popular dining options. This is a hands-on role suited to enthusiastic hospitality professional who enjoys working across a variety of functions, including guest services, reception, food and beverage service, housekeeping and general operational support.

Position – Hospitality Worker (multiple positions)

Location – Ceduna, South Australia 5690

Salary - $70,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation per annum

Employment Type - Full-time, Permanent

THE ROLE:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable Hospitality Worker to support the day-to-day operation of the motel through a range of customer service, housekeeping, front office and general hospitality duties, ensuring guests receive a high standard of service throughout their stay.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Provide a high standard of customer service to motel guests, ensuring a positive guest experience throughout their stay.

· Perform front desk duties, including guest check-in and check-out, reservations, enquiries, payment processing and administration tasks.

· Operate property management systems and maintain accurate guest records, bookings and accommodation information.

· Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders, serving meals and beverages, and clearing tables.

· Prepare dining and service areas for meal service and ensure presentation standards are maintained.

· Assist with housekeeping duties as required, including servicing guest rooms, replenishing amenities and maintaining cleanliness in accommodation and public areas.

· Monitor guest requirements and respond promptly to enquires, requests and complaints in a professional manner.

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout guest, dining and service areas in accordance with workplace procedures.

· Handle cash, process payments and reconcile transactions in accordance with business procedures.

· Assist with stock control, stock rotation and replenishment of food, beverage and housekeeping supplies.

· Follow workplace health and safety requirements, food safety procedures and responsible service practices.

· Work collaboratively with management and other staff to ensure the efficient operation of motel and restaurant services.

· Assist with general operational duties as required to support accommodation, restaurant and guest service functions.

The role requires the following qualifications and experience:

· Relevant qualification, such as a Certificate II in Hospitality (or agreed equivalent).

· Minimum of 1 year (preferably more) full-time experience in a motel, hotel, hospitality venue or similar customer service environment.

· Demonstrated experience in front desk operations, guest services, food and beverage service and accommodation support.

· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

· Ability to work across a variety of hospitality functions, including reception, food service and housekeeping activities.

· Experience using property management systems such as RMS, GuestPoint or similar booking platforms would be highly regarded.

· Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

· Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

· Current Australian driver’s licence.

· A positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

· The applicant must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
