About the Role 

We are looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at Jones Radiology. Based at our Eastwood office, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Finance function in a newly created role.

As our Finance team continues to grow, you will play an important role in establishing and embedding the Accounts Payable function, helping shape processes and ways of working as the team evolves.

What your role looks like:

• Accurately and efficiently process supplier invoices, reconciliations and payments, ensuring deadlines are met and records are maintained.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing responsive and professional service.
• Support employees across the practice with expense claims and the administration of our corporate card program.
• Provide practical guidance and support on expense, purchasing and payment policies and processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, helping to strengthen and streamline Accounts Payable processes.
• Contribute to the financial integrity and effective day-to-day operations of the practice.
• Play an active role in establishing and embedding the Accounts Payable function as part of our growing Finance team.

What you will bring:

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organised and thrives in a varied environment, with a strong customer service mindset. You will bring:

• At least 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a medium to large organisation. 
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and accounting principles, with excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• A sound understanding of GST and invoice compliance requirements.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• A degree or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience using ERP and expense management systems
• A current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
