Electrical Apprentices

Rate: As per applicable apprentice rates — factory EBA conditions apply

A-Line Group is a Tier 1 switchboard manufacturer supplying major projects across Australia. Due to growth, we're expanding our Moorabbin factory team.

As an Apprentice Electrician with A-Line Group, you'll learn switchboard manufacturing from the ground up, working alongside experienced A Grade electricians and supervisors. You'll gain skills in assembly, wiring, terminations, testing and drawing interpretation — a specialist skill set that's in high demand across the industry.

•      Switchboard assembly and fit-out

•      Wiring, terminations and busbar work

•      Reading electrical schematics and GA drawings

•      Testing and quality assurance processes

•      Safe work practices in a manufacturing environment

•      Experience with on-site modifications to switchboards

•      Control wiring

•      Completion of certificate III in Electrotechnology and ability to sit for A Grade license

•      Genuine interest in the electrical trade

•      Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn

•      Good hand skills and attention to detail

•      1st year through to 4th year. (mature-age applicants welcome)

•      Pre-apprenticeship (Certificate II in Electrotechnology) advantageous but not essential

•      Factory EBA conditions

•      RDOs

•      Jump-up rate when working on-site (Site EBA Relative)

•      Structured on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced tradespeople

•      A stable indoor working environment — one location, no constant travel

•      Strong likelihood of ongoing employment on completion of your apprenticeship
