The Role

Part Time role.

We are looking for a ‘tech savvy’ individual to join the team that will be able to jump straight in and provide our clients with quality service from the start.  Responsibilities will include general bookkeeping services, such as:

• Accounts payable and receivable;

• Bank reconciliations;

• Payroll preparation; and

• Other ad-hoc administrative duties.

It will also include more experienced tasks, such as:

• PAYG / Superannuation compliance;

• GST, BAS, IAS compliance;

• Quality review processes;

• General ledger reconciliations;

• Cash flow management; and

• Liaising with external accountants.

Full training will be provided for the role.  As BBSA grows its client base there will be opportunities to progress within the organisation into supervisory and management roles.

Key Capabilities & Attributes

• Strong bookkeeping knowledge and experience.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (O365, Teams, Sharepoint, Excel, Word, etc).

• Competent with technology (essential).

• XERO experience essential (other accounting software experience is also helpful).

• Experience with ReceiptBank/Dext, Power BI, FoundU and Deputy preferred.

• Bookkeeping Cert IV / Accounting degree or diploma preferred.

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to work with clients and team members.

• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
