AVD Directional Drilling & Civil Pty Ltd AVD Directional Drilling and Civil Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and dependable Telecommunications Network Planner to join its team. The position is responsible for planning, implementing, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting telecommunications networks and related equipment. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, contractors and technical personnel to ensure telecommunications projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.

Benefits Competitive Salary Opportunities to learn and grow Stable employment Task & responsibilities Interpret telecommunications requirements and specifications to plan, design, build, configure, and commission telecommunications devices, networks, and systems, including voice, radio, two-way, data, microwave, satellite, and digital communication systems. Plan, configure, integrate and coordinate the deployment and ongoing maintenance of complex telecommunications networks and infrastructure, including radio, satellite, Wi-Fi, fibre optic and other network technologies. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues affecting fibre optic connections, telecommunications equipment, and network performance.

Conduct testing, inspection, and performance assessments of telecommunications networks, infrastructure, equipment, and systems. Integrate and configure telecommunications and network technologies with computer hardware, software, databases, and operating systems. Plan and coordinate the deployment of aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure, radio systems and mobile telecommunications networks, liaising with technical teams, contractors and service providers to ensure network requirements are met.

Developing and maintaining accurate records of telecommunications inventories, components, equipment, instruments, locations, and operational status. Monitor network and equipment performance to identify faults, outages, and opportunities for improved reliability and efficiency. Qualification & experience Advanced Diploma or associate degree in Telecommunications (At least 3 years of relevant work experience may substitute the formal qualification).

Min 1 year of work experience in installing, testing, maintaining and fixing telecommunications equipment and networks.   About Company AVD Drills provides specialist underground telecommunications netwrk and infrastructure construction services supporting network operators, contractors, infrastructure providers and civil projects.
