Ward Clerk

• Permanent Part Time, 32 hours per fortnight
• Located at: The Mornington Centre
• Classification: Grade 1 Year - Year 5 (HS1 - HS17*) plus super

The Team & Role

The Ward Clerk position for is a multifaceted role that includes traditional ward clerk responsibilities, alongside a variety of general administrative tasks. The Ward Clerk reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and are responsible for presenting a professional, welcoming and informative reception when communicating with patients within the program. Additionally they provide efficient and effective general clerical support for the NUM, Director and staff respecting confidentiality at all times

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrated competency in medical terminology
• High level computer skills, including experience using iPM   
• Previous experience in a Health setting (desirable)
