About The Role
The Intensive Care Unit of Ipswich hospital services the growing West Moreton region caring for critically ill patients.With 9 funded beds the unit's case mix includes adult surgical, medical, obstetric patients and also caters for children over the age of 12 years with the support of the Queensland Children's Hospital.
The motivated team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists and speech pathologists work together to deliver a high standard of holistic patient care.
University affiliation, active training programs and recognised research contribute to the advancement in intensive care practices and continuing staff development. By combining innovative clinical practice and a supportive learning environment we ensure that we promote excellence in patient and family care.
