Your new role
The People and Culture Directorate leads the development and delivery of people-related services and initiatives, driving enhancements to organisational culture and employee wellbeing.
As the Business Support Officer you will play a pivotal role in providing business and administrative assistance, project support and contribute to activities aligned to the Directorate and corporate objectives.
This role reports through to the Director People and Culture and is so much more than an executive support function. Key tasks include providing proactive, responsive and confidential business and administrative support, proofreading, editing and preparing correspondence, research assistance and contributing to the development and implementation of Human Resource Management projects, systems, policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, understand what if means to provide excellent secretariat support to a range of internal committees and be equipped with effective project management skills.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
