About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our high performing Select Plant Australia team based out of Malaga, WA who will be responsible for covering the WA and NT regions.

The purpose of this role is to ensure contractual obligations are met, commercial risks are identified and managed and billing and reporting activities are completed accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Administer regional contracts through the full post-award lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company governance requirements.
• Monitor contract performance, manage obligations, support variation and claims processes, and contribute to effective commercial close-out activities.
• Coordinate regional mobilisation and operational readiness activities, including commercial systems, documentation and handovers.
• Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, registers and document control throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Support procurement and purchasing activities, including purchase orders, approvals, goods receipting and supplier engagement.
• Review billing, accruals and month-end activities, ensuring revenue and cost information is accurate and commercially robust.
• Provide practical commercial advice to operational teams, supporting informed decision-making and successful project execution.
• Monitor Customer receivables and proactively follow up on payment collections in accordance with contractual payment terms.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding activities and maintain supplier records and documentation in accordance with company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and track regional budgets, forecasts, and expenditure to support effective financial planning.
• Assist in resolving commercial issues, supplier matters and contractual disputes within delegated authority levels.
• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual business plans, budgets, and periodic financial forecasts.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to support delivery outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance commercial performance, compliance and operational efficiency.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is desirable
• Experience in contract administration, commercial administration or project commercial support within construction, engineering, infrastructure, utilities or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience managing post-award contract administration activities and maintaining commercial documentation.
• Experience supporting procurement, supplier management, invoicing, claims, variations and commercial reporting processes.
• Exposure to billing, cost management, accruals and contract close-out activities.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across operational and project environments.
