Store Person - Hardware & Accessories

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Store Person to join our team at our Belmont Distribution Centre. 

This is a hands-on warehouse role where you’ll be involved in the day-to-day movement of stock and customer orders, including receiving goods, picking and packing orders, preparing products for dispatch and maintaining a safe and organised warehouse.

You’ll work closely with our warehouse and customer service teams to make sure orders are prepared accurately, safely and on time.

What you'll be doing

• Receive, check and put away incoming stock
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Prepare and stage orders for dispatch
• Load and unload deliveries safely using a forklift
• Assist with stock control, stocktakes and inventory accuracy
• Ensure products are handled and stored correctly
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse
• Work closely with the warehouse and customer service teams to meet daily requirements
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company processes

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team member who enjoys working in a warehouse environment and takes pride in getting the job done safely and accurately.

You will ideally bring:

• Previous warehouse, stores or pick/pack experience
• Current forklift licence – essential
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a small team
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse or inventory systems would be advantageous
• Experience within hardware, building products, aluminium or industrial distribution would be highly regarded
