As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised and motivated Sales & Estimating Assistant to join our team. 

About the Role 

We are seeking a full-time Sales & Estimating Assistant to work closely with our Sales Manager, supporting the sales and estimating process from initial client enquiry through to project handover. 

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. 

You'll gain valuable exposure to residential renovation projects while learning from an experienced industry professional. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in construction, estimating, and project management. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Attend client site visits with the Sales Manager. 

• Record site notes, measurements, photos, and client requirements. 

• Prepare quotations. 

• Obtain and coordinate supplier and subcontractor pricing. 

• Review and adjust quotes for client, scope and design changes. 

• Identify variations, credits, and allowance adjustments. 

• Update pricing based on final selections and quantities. 

• Verify quote accuracy, margins and GST. 

• Follow up with clients and prepare revised proposals. 

• Assist with final quote review and handover to the Project Manager / construction team. 

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

• Building, construction or trade industry knowledge or experience. 

• Design, drafting, or interior selections experience (desirable but not essential). 

• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. 

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 

• Clear and professional communication skills. 

• Confidence working with clients, suppliers, supervisors, and trade teams. 

• Strong computer skills and experience using job management software such as Monday.com, ServiceM8, simPRO, or similar systems. 

• A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. 

• A current driver's licence.
