Part-Time Retail Sales Assistant / Supervisor – Menswear

About the role

HLA Australia is looking for friendly, motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Sales Assistants / Supervisors to join our growing retail team across our Eastgardens, Chatswood and upcoming Parramatta stores. This role is ideal for someone with proven retail and customer service experience who enjoys working with customers, has a strong interest in men's fashion, and is looking for a stable part-time position with opportunities to develop into greater store responsibilities and future management roles. As part of our store team, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent customer experience while supporting the day-to-day operation and presentation of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming in-store experience
• Assist customers with product selection, styling and recommendations
• Drive sales and contribute towards individual and store targets
• Process sales and customer transactions accurately through the POS system
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising
• Replenish stock and assist with inventory management
• Support the team with daily store operations
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures
• Implement visual merchandising and operational directives
• Take initiative and support the smooth running of the store when required

About you

• Previous retail and customer service experience is required
• Friendly, confident and approachable
• Reliable and punctual
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
• Sales-focused and motivated to achieve targets
• A strong communicator and team player
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Interested in men's fashion, styling and retail
• Keen to understand garment fit, fabrics and product details
• Experienced in using POS systems
