About the role

Thiess, Yilgarn Iron Ore Project is a Brownfields mining operation that includes the sites of Koolyanobbing, Windarling and Parker Range.

Koolyanobbing is in the Shire of Yilgarn, Western Australia, 54 km north-northeast of the town of Southern Cross.

Thiess are currently seeking applications from experienced Site Administrators . This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity, working a 14 days on, 14 days off roster.  The position is available on a bus-in, bus-out (BIBO) basis from Perth or a drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) basis from surrounding areas.  

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and deliver efficient and effective administration planning and support 
• Maintaining rosters and inputting employee hours
• Managing mobilisation process
• Maintain reports, filing systems and personnel files as directed 
• Maintain correspondence notes, filing systems and process invoices and procure employees in compliance with company requirements

About You

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite  
• 2 years experience in a similar position 
• Experience with JDE & Inex required  
• Experience in mining operations administration 
• Professional, mature and reliable approach to duties and colleagues
