Sam’s Health Emporium – Go Vita Southlands is looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and motivated Naturopath who is seeking a professional space to conduct consultations and grow their naturopathic practice.

This is a unique opportunity to provide consultations through our established Health Emporium Clinic while also working within one of Perth’s busiest natural-health retail environments. Our large and diverse customer base provides valuable opportunities to connect with prospective clients, build trusted relationships and introduce customers to the benefits of personalised naturopathic care.

The role combines working within our busy health food store with conducting one-on-one naturopathic consultations for clients requiring more comprehensive health support. You will educate customers, provide evidence-based natural-health advice and recommend practitioner-quality supplements, while developing your own client portfolio through the clinic.

• Conduct naturopathic consultations to assess clients’ health concerns, medical history, lifestyle and wellness objectives.

• Develop personalised treatment plans incorporating nutritional counselling, herbal medicine, natural therapies and lifestyle recommendations.

• Provide evidence-based advice on nutritional supplements, herbal preparations and complementary therapeutic products.

• Build relationships with retail customers and identify when they may benefit from more comprehensive naturopathic support.

• Develop and grow your client portfolio through the Health Emporium Clinic.

• Educate clients on preventative health strategies and sustainable lifestyle changes that support long-term wellbeing.

• Maintain accurate and detailed consultation records, treatment plans and progress notes.

• Recommend appropriate products and practitioner-quality supplements from our extensive natural-health range.

• Stay informed about industry developments, current research and best practice in natural medicine.

• Uphold professional standards, ethical practice, confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.

• A tertiary qualification in Naturopathy or an equivalent qualification from a recognised natural-medicine institution.

• Current professional registration or membership with a relevant professional association, such as ATMS or an equivalent body.

• Experience conducting naturopathic consultations and developing personalised treatment plans.

• Strong knowledge of herbal medicine, nutritional science, supplementation and complementary therapies.

• An interest in building and developing your own naturopathic client base.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain health information in a clear and approachable way.

• Confidence engaging with customers in a busy retail environment.

• A compassionate, professional and client-centred approach.

• A sound understanding of professional ethics, confidentiality, health and safety requirements and appropriate clinical boundaries.

• The ability to work flexibly on a casual basis and adapt to varying scheduling requirements.

• A passion for natural health and a commitment to evidence-based naturopathic practice.

• Previous retail or customer-service experience within a health and wellness environment is advantageous.
