The Opportunity

We're looking for an accountant who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making things happen.

As Financial Accountant, you'll join our Finance team at an exciting stage of growth, helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting while supporting a business that continues to evolve. Reporting to the Finance & Reporting Manager, you'll work across month-end close, reconciliations, taxation, fixed assets, reporting and compliance activities that are critical to the day-to-day operation of the business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, takes pride in getting the fundamentals right and is prepared to see tasks through to completion.

You'll have the opportunity to:
•    Take ownership of key financial accounting activities including month-end, reporting, tax and compliance
•    Build strong relationships across the business and work collaboratively to drive outcomes
•    Contribute to improving processes, controls and ways of working as the business continues to grow
•    Develop broad exposure across a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment

This is an opportunity to learn from an experienced Finance team and gain broad exposure to a growing FMCG business.

Your Experience

We're looking for someone who has built strong accounting foundations and is ready to continue developing their capability within a fast-paced and growing organisation.

You may have gained your experience in FMCG, manufacturing, audit or another complex environment where attention to detail, accountability and stakeholder engagement are critical to success.

Ideally, you'll bring:
•    Experience across financial accounting, audit, reporting or compliance activities
•    Exposure to month-end close, reconciliations and statutory reporting requirements
•    Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
•    A proactive and solutions-focused approach
•    Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate work
•    The ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders
•    Curiosity, initiative and a genuine willingness to learn
•    CA/CPA qualification, or be working towards completion
