About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker - Installer to join our dynamic team at Advance Kitchens Pty Ltd in Caloundra West, Queensland. As a full-time Cabinetmaker - Installer, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and installation of high-quality kitchen cabinets and furniture for our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricate and assemble cabinet components according to detailed plans and specifications

• Provide skilled installation of cabinets, countertops, and other related fixtures in customer homes

• Collaborate with the design team to ensure the final product meets customer requirements

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to strict safety protocols

• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues promptly and efficiently

• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Cabinetmaking or a related trade

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cabinetmaker or Installer, preferably in the kitchen and bathroom industry

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Proficient in the use of power tools and machinery commonly used in cabinetmaking

• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

• Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team

• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle

• Professional, reliable and trustworthy

• Physically capable, as the role requires lifting

• Able to work independently
