Job description:

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems (Pedestrian) is a global leader in access solutions, renowned for our innovation, integrity, and commitment to quality.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our team. This hands-on role supports manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, and logistics operations, ensuring products are produced, handled, and dispatched safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position is based in Bangholme, Victoria.

What You'll Do

• Perform manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, and logistics activities in line with operational requirements.
• Assemble, pick, pack, move, and dispatch products and materials.
• Operate tools, equipment, and systems safely and effectively.
• Support production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock movements, cycle counts, and stocktakes.
• Complete production, inventory, and quality transactions using company systems.
• Maintain accurate records and operational documentation.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and operational performance.
• Follow all safety, quality, and compliance requirements while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehousing, fabrication, or a similar operational environment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills and experience using operational systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, pick lists, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Experience using ERP, manufacturing, or warehouse management systems (desirable).
• Experience in fabrication, assembly, production, warehousing, inventory control, or logistics activities (desirable).
• Forklift Licence and/or First Aid qualification (desirable).
• Mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing background (desirable).
