Sal's Pizza Shift Leader/2IC - Mona vale Store

We are looking for an experienced hospitality manager to help lead a strong team at Sal's Pizza Mona Vale. This role offers the right person a chance to learn all things New York Pizza, while making the store their own. 

As a Shift Leader/2IC, you’ll take charge of daily operations, drive performance, and deliver the genuine Sal’s experience our customers love. You’ll lead and develop your team, ensuring every slice, every shift, and every customer interaction meets the Sal’s standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about food quality, and knows how to motivate a team to achieve outstanding results.

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations including rostering, cash handling, inventory, and food safety compliance.

• Lead and motivate both front and back of house teams to deliver consistently excellent customer experiences.

• Monitor and maintain stock levels, coordinate supplier orders, and ensure efficient prep for each shift.

• Train, coach, and support staff to build capability and confidence across all positions.

• Address and resolve customer feedback with professionalism and care.

• Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

• Foster a strong team culture through open communication, collaboration, and accountability.

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management (QSR or casual dining preferred).

• Strong communication and leadership skills, you know how to motivate and build a team.

• Confident problem-solver with a proactive, hands-on approach.

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• RSA and Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
