Team Leader – Targeted Care Packages

About The Role
As the Team Leader - Targeted Care Packages (TCP), you will play a critical role in improving outcomes for children and young people with complex needs by leading the development, implementation and ongoing management of individualised Targeted Care Packages. Reporting to the Targeted Care Packages Coordinator, you will provide leadership, supervision and support to a multidisciplinary team delivering flexible, child-centred services that help children and young people transition from residential care into more stable and nurturing living arrangements, including family reunification, kinship care, home-based care, lead tenant programs and independent living. Working collaboratively with children, young people, families, carers, the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) and other key stakeholders, you will ensure services are responsive, innovative and tailored to each individual's needs, strengths and goals. You will oversee program delivery, compliance, reporting and stakeholder engagement while supporting staff to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. This is a Parttime opportunity (4 days a week/ 0.8EFT) based in Footscray, VIC within our TCP & Reconnect Program.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related behavioural science discipline, along with experience working within the Out of Home Care, Child and Family Services, or a related sector.Demonstrated leadership experience supervising and supporting multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005, child welfare frameworks, and best interests' principles.Proven experience working with children, young people and families presenting with complex needs, and the ability to develop creative, tailored solutions that achieve positive outcomes.
