Plastic Fabricator

BCJ Plastic Products is a privately owned, light industrial manufacturing business, located in the Kewdale industrial estate, and we have been manufacturing bespoke plastic products for over 40 years. We have a full and diverse range of manufacturing capability including cutting, bending, forming, welding and fabricating, and we now have a vacancy for a suitably experienced plastic fabricator. Part of a team of experienced craftsmen, the role will be responsible for a wide range of plasticfabrication activities, including fabrication, moulding, forming, plastic welding and vacuum forming. CNC programming skills and operation in a plastic environment will also be highly regarded. Experience in one or all of these skills is essential, with experience in industrial plastics as an advantage. You will also be required to: work efficiently and safely at all times;work well individually and with our team;be keen to develop your skills, and add new capabilities;consult with and take guidance from others;be flexible, proactive & able to follow instructions;check the quality of a prepared product, and maintain high standards;operate & maintain relevant machines;check the quality of a finished product;inspect & pack the final product; andinteract with customers and provide customer collection support. Forklift ticket and experience will be highly regarded. The role is full time, 38 hours per week.
