Multi Combination Driver - long distance

About the role

Milin Transport is looking for experienced B/Double and A/Double drivers for local and long distance work. You will operate general freight and bulk steel loads on flat top trailers, drop decks and Prairie Wagons. Mixed runs operate from Brisbane to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and North QLD. The role offers one truck, one driver arrangement with a busy, year-round schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate B/Double and A/Double vehicles on long distance routes

• Transport general freight and bulk steel loads

• Manage fatigue using onsite fatigue management systems

• Participate in comprehensive load restraint training

• Operate manual road ranger 18 speed gear box and reverse trailers

About you

• Current MC licence (open)

• BFM qualification

• Pass a pre-employment driver medical

• Ability to operate a manual road ranger 18 speed gear box and reverse trailers

• Minimum 5 year licence print out

• Road-train experience preferred

Milin Transport have recently moved to a brand new, purpose built depot in Brendale. We run general freight and bulk steel loads and take pride in our well-equipped modern fleet of vehicles. Our interstate fleet of Kenworth prime movers are fitted with a microwave oven, fridge/freezer and TVs for comfort while away on the road. We offer a fully equipped wash bay and onsite workshop.
