About the role
At Integral Fire, we’re proud to be a family-owned and operated fire protection company specialising in the installation, service and maintenance of both wet and dry fire systems.
Due to the recent acquisition of two of W.A.'s largest privately owned commercial/retail property portfolios and ongoing growth as a company, we’re looking for a experienced Dry Fire Technician specialising in service, maintenance and capital works to join our friendly and professional team on a full-time basis.
We work across a wide range of sectors including heavy industrial, commercial construction, mining, resources, property and strata management, education, health, aged care and retail.
Thanks to the scope of our services and diverse client base, we offer a dynamic and rewarding career path with real opportunities for professional growth and up-skilling.
This is a hands-on technical role within our Dry Fire Department, where you will be a key player responsible for:
Service, maintenance and testing in accordance with AS1851 of dry fire systems including fire detection and occupant warning systems;
Minor works and rectification projects on dry fire systems;
Troubleshooting and fault finding across a range of dry fire systems;
Assist with servicing, maintaining and testing systems that integrate with dry fire systems. This includes fire pump sets and sprinkler control valves;
Working closely with clients, contractors and team members to ensure compliance and quality service delivery.
We are seeking a motivated and reliable fire technician who thrives in a team environment and is looking to take the next step in their career. Ideally, you will bring:
A strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS1670, AS1851) and fire industry practices;
Experience with electrical/dry fire systems (minimum 2 years preferred);
Excellent problem-solving, time management and leadership skills;
A positive work ethic and commitment to safety;
Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively as needed;
A professional and personable approach to dealing with clients and contractors;
High attention to detail and a commitment to safety and compliance;
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
Open cabling license or suitably qualified fire technician with relevant endorsements (Cert II, Cert III and/or EAHL);
Current Australian Driver's Licence;
National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Where licenses are not already held, we are happy to fund and facilitate the completion of various certificates and training to assist you in further career development within the fire protection industry.
Competitive salary based on experience + vehicle + phone + super.
Supportive and down-to-earth team culture.
Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Career progression.
Variety of projects and clients – no two days the same.
If you're a motivated Fire Tech and take pride in quality work, we want to hear from you!
