Applications are invited from suitably qualified Peri-operative nurses to join our Theatre Team on full time, part time and casual basis. We are interested in applications from Nurses with experience and knowledge in Perioperative nursing and a commitment to best practice. The successful applicant/applicants will have a demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and be committed to providing high quality nursing services. Recent experience in perioperative nursing and a good understanding of the role of a perioperative nurse, advanced interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should be able to demonstrate effective infection control practices and a commitment to quality improvement.

We are seeking applications from dynamic Theatre Nurses who have the energy and passion for excellence in healthcare.

Essential Criteria

• Registration with AHPRA

• A commitment to working in close knit team environment

• Minimum 1 year Theatre experience

• National Criminal Record Check

• Working with Children Check

Desirable Criteria

• Nursing experience in Endoscopy, Orthopaedic, Ophthalmic, Facial Maxillary, Plastics, Dermatology, Bariatrics, Gynaecology and Ear, Nose and Throat patients.

• Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing or equivalent.
