Boilermaker / Welder

Kent is seeking experienced Boilermakers to support a major industrial construction project in Karratha, WA.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to one of Australia's most significant process plant developments, supporting the construction, installation, testing and progressive commissioning of a world-scale industrial facility in Karratha, WA.

Essential Requirements

• Trade Cert - Boilermaker or Fabrication (Australian recognised)

• Working at Heights

• Confined Space

• HRWL EWP

• Demonstrated experience in FCAW and SMAW structural welding

• Previous FIFO and/or major construction project experience

• Ability to successfully complete SMAW and FCAW 3G and 4G weld testing

• Full Australian Working Rights

Role Scope

• Structural welding using FCAW and SMAW processes

• Working from engineering drawings and fabrication details

Candidates will be required to pass weld testing, SMAW and FCAW 3G and 4G testing. We use LMATs in Bibra Lake and allow 1-2 days for testing.
