About Us:

Kirin Industries is a growing Australian manufacturer of truck bodies and innovative aluminium pantech solutions (ALLYPAN®). We build and fit out a wide range of truck bodies including tippers, pantechs, curtain siders, and custom solutions for both light and heavy vehicles. Our workshop is expanding, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Metal Fabricator to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures, components, and equipment to meet customer specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.

·       Cutting, shaping, and welding metal materials using appropriate tools and equipment.

·       Assembling and joining metal parts to form complete structures and components.

·       Operating fabrication machinery, including guillotines, presses, and grinders.

·       Inspecting finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.

·       Performing repairs and modifications to metal products as required.

·       Adhering to workplace health and safety standards at all times.

·       Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and client requirements.

Skills:

·       A relevant trade certificate or minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience as a metal fabricator.

·       Strong skills in welding (MIG, TIG, and arc welding).

·       Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

·       Competence in using fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment.

·       High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
