Refrigerated Truck Driver – Casual

We are a well-established packaged ice business based in Maroochydore and are seeking a reliable, physically fit and customer-focused Refrigerated Truck Driver to join our team on a casual basis.

The position involves delivering packaged ice to customers throughout Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Gympie and Hervey Bay. This is a hands-on role involving multidrop deliveries, manual handling and regular interaction with customers.

About the role

• Casual position working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays

• Starting at 6.30 am and finishing when the delivery run is completed

• Most days finish around 3.30 pm, although during busy periods some days may extend.

• Driving a refrigerated truck and completing multidrop deliveries

• Loading and unloading packaged ice

• Providing friendly and professional service to customers

• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records

• Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained

To be considered, you must have

• A current MR driver’s licence

• A clean driving record

• Previous multidrop or hand-delivery experience

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• A high level of physical fitness and strength

• The ability to safely perform repetitive lifting and manual-handling duties

• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

• The ability to work independently and manage a delivery schedule

• Flexibility to work longer hours during busy periods and occasional Saturdays

Previous experience driving refrigerated vehicles or delivering food, beverages, ice or similar products would be highly regarded.
