The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of high-calibre clients. You'll take ownership of compliance, advisory, and management reporting while mentoring junior and off shore team members and collaborating with directors and managers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns and BAS/IAS for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals

• Preparation of management reports and assistance with business advisory engagements

• Mentoring and supporting junior team members

• Provide business advisory, tax planning, and structuring services

• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value

About You

To succeed in this role you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' public practice experience

• CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and Australian tax

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with clients and lead team members

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Proactive and growth-oriented; you see opportunities and act on them

• Genuine interest in business and understanding what makes it succeed

• Curiosity about how AI can help you execute your work
