Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy Medical Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment and enjoys building strong relationships with doctors, staff, and patients alike.

•      Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning

•      Manage, roster, and support reception and nursing staff

•      Liaise with GPs and specialists regarding practice needs and patient care coordination

•      Handle recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance management

•      Oversee billing, Medicare compliance, and use of Best Practice software

•      Manage supplier relationships, facilities, and equipment maintenance

•      Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and workplace health and safety

•      Handle patient enquiries and complaints with professionalism and care

•      Support financial management, including budgeting and reporting

•      Previous experience in a Practice Manager or senior medical administration role (essential)

•      Experience with Best Practice software highly regarded

•      Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

•      Excellent organisational and time-management abilities

•      Sound understanding of general practice operations, Medicare billing, and accreditation requirements

•      A calm, solutions-focused approach and the ability to multitask in a busy environment

•      Competitive hourly rate of $40–$45/hour
