Service Advisor – BYD Hornsby

We are seeking a motivated Service Advisor to be the vital link between customers and the dealership. In this role, you will manage daily reception duties at the after‑sales service front desk, coordinate maintenance activities, and provide direct support to the Service Manager in achieving departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and develop dealership maintenance services
• Manage customer maintenance appointments
• Receive customers and prepare work orders
• Coordinate progress of maintenance work
• Prepare vehicles for delivery after maintenance
• Handle vehicle delivery and return processes
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Coordinate ordering of special parts
• Implement fair and consistent warranty policies
• Support pre-delivery inspections and new car handovers
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns
• Resolve customer issues through proactive follow-up

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or higher in Automotive or related field
• Training: Knowledge of relevant laws/regulations

Experience:

• 3+ years in automotive repair or related industries
• 1+ year in customer service
• Familiarity with BYD/Toyota operations is advantageous

Skills:

• Computer proficiency
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Attitude: Positive, team-oriented, professional image, resilient under pressure
