Customer Engagement Officer

We are seeking an experienced Customer Engagement Officer who is familiar with the NDIS landscape and is passionate about continuing to make a meaningful difference within a purpose-driven organisation.

About the Role:

• As the first point of contact for our customers, you will build strong relationships and use your NDIS expertise to navigate complex issues, provide effective support and ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers.
• You will be responsible for guiding new and existing customers throughout their service journey, from initial enquiry and intake through to service agreement development and renewal.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised service while keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do. This requires balancing a people-focused approach with the technical aspects of funding, systems and compliance, ensuring customers receive clear, accurate and responsive support throughout their journey.

What You’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in NDIS or disability support sector
• Great customer service skills and well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with people of difference backgrounds and abilities and actively listen to their concerns and questions.
• Sound knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft and salesforce.
• Ability to actively listen to and respond appropriately to customer feedback
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
• An ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within your team and the broader organisational structure
• A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to remain effective and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
