Mental Health Enrolled Nurses - FT/PT roles. 

Marian Centre is a 69-bed private voluntary hospital situated in Wembley in the medical precinct of Subiaco. Marian Centre has an established reputation for excellence in the delivery of a broad range of acute mental health services. Marian Centre offers a range of speciality and sub-specialities to meet the needs of our population.

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Enrolled Mental Health nurses to join our private mental health team. We are currently offering a permanent night role (70hrs) and PT/FT roles for day/afternoon shifts.

Mandatory qualifications and requirements:

• Post Grad Mental health experience is required

• Full registration with AHPRA

• Strong focus on patient centred nursing care

• Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice. 

• Focus on service improvement for delivery of excellent patient care and positive patient outcomes.

• Promote safety, security and personal integrity in the workplace.

• Knowledge or willing to obtain knowledge of trauma informed care.

• It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be and remain vaccinated against preventable diseases during their employment.

Required personal competencies:

• Effective time management and coordination skills

• Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care.

• Able to conduct a comprehensive and systematic mental health assessment.

• Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• All employees are required to complete and maintain their mandatory education and competencies in accordance with Marian Centre policies and procedures.

Applicants MUST have current police clearance, WWCC, proof of vaccination / immunisations (current and up to date), COVID vaccination record.
