Build an exciting and rewarding EP career
We're looking to welcome a keen AEP ready for a role that incorporates ultimate satisfaction, fun and diversity in applying their professional skills to a broad range of clientele. In working with us, you can expect your role to be closely aligned to why you became an AEP in the first place. ExCo specialises in applying exercise prescription for the treatment, management and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and complex/chronic health conditions, and helping clients thrive through our unique and collaborative approach.
Specifically, this is what you can expect in your role as an AEP here at ExCo:
Certainty
- An attractive well above-award salary package, consummate to your level of experience/skill set. In addition, this salary package is accompanied by our commission-based rewards scheme, testament to your ability to produce results for clients and living ExCo’s core values.
- A spacious and specially-designed exercise facility with industry-renowned exercise and assessment equipment and technology, including the VALD system and Force Deck plates, a 25m PLAE synthetic turf track, high quality cardio and resistance-based equipment from Technogym, Keiser and Freemotion, as well as several lifting racks and free weights.

- A starting caseload and schedule that will build and refine over time according to your particular areas of interest, preferences and skillsets.
Growth
- Significant emphasis on continuing professional development and progression of your EP skillset with weekly mentoring, education and practical learning opportunities. On top of this, we offer a pro-rata'ed $1200 annual CPD allowance. Furthermore, you will be exposed to various systems and processes within the organisation in order to facilitate and explore a genuinely satisfying career in Exercise Physiology and the wider health industry.
- The opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of educational resources, assessments and exercise delivery of our renowned evidence-based programs, including those for osteoporosis, cancer, osteoarthritis, chronic pain and metabolic conditions in 1:1, semi-private and group class formats.
- The development of a strong knowledge-based and application in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and function, allowing you to be confident in your ability to help those at various stages of the health continuum, including those recovering from injuries/surgery, those looking to prevent injury and those looking to optimise performance.

- A genuinely collaborative and enjoyable environment for you to share, explore and develop ideas with like-minded team members in order to establish individualised pathways for our clients to achieve their optimal health, fitness and wellbeing, and ultimately, live their best lives. - The opportunity to meet and collaborate with other health professionals in our community, including GPs, specialists, other Allied Health Professionals and support workers in order to facilitate an optimal outcome pathways for clients, and explore opportunities in showcasing your skills and knowledge through various mediums (eg. workshops, presentations, coffee meet ups etc!).

Role Essentials: Qualifications and Experience
● As a minimum, Bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology or equivalent.
● Accreditation in Exercise Physiology with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
● Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness and eligibility to obtain).
● Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Role Desirables:
● Experience working in a private exercise physiology/allied health clinic.
● Good understanding of various government (eg. Medicare, DVA, SIRA, NDIS etc) and private health fund schemes.
● Drivers licence and own car.
