Are you one of those rare people who is highly organised, great with systems and administration, but also creative and confident with marketing and social media?

We are recruiting for a well-established and growing building and construction company on the Sunshine Coast looking for a versatile Admin & Marketing Coordinator to become an important part of their team.

This is not your typical administration role. We are looking for someone who can jump between office management, systems and processes, accounts support, contract administration and client selections, while also helping showcase the incredible projects the business is delivering through social media, photography, video, website content and marketing.

The company is open-minded about how this position looks. It could suit an experienced all-rounder wanting a full-time role, an experienced professional seeking part-time flexibility, or potentially be separated into two positions if we find exceptional candidates with different strengths.

The Role

Depending on your experience and strengths, your responsibilities could include:

• General administration and day-to-day office coordination

• Reviewing and improving internal systems and processes

• Accounts administration, invoicing and general bookkeeping support

• Assisting with construction contract administration and documentation

• Maintaining project files, records and internal systems

• Coordinating client communication throughout the building process

• Assisting clients with colours, finishes, fixtures and selections

• Liaising with suppliers, trades, clients and the construction team

• Keeping documentation, variations and project information organised

• Supporting management with general business administration

• Creating engaging before-and-after, progress and completed-project content

• Helping maintain consistent company branding

• Assisting with marketing campaigns and lead generation

• Identifying new ways to promote the business and showcase its projects

About You

We would love to speak with someone who is:

• Highly organised and naturally good at keeping things on track

• Confident using different software, systems and technology

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership

• Professional and confident communicating with clients

• Experienced within construction, building, trades or a similar industry – highly regarded

• Comfortable with basic accounts and administration

• Creative and genuinely interested in marketing

• Confident taking quality photos and videos for social media

• Familiar with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

• Able to create simple, professional content using tools such as Canva

• Comfortable updating website content or willing to learn

• Someone who sees something that needs doing and simply gets onto it
