FIFO Electrician

About the role

Perth Multi Electrics is seeking experienced electricians to join one of our two project teams, based in either Dongara or the Pilbara. This is a casual position working a 2/1 FIFO roster, with the potential for ongoing work and the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

What we’re looking for

• Qualified electrician with a current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence

• Minimum two years’ experience working as a qualified electrical tradesperson

• Commercial electrical and camp infrastructure installation experience

• Rio Tinto inductions – desirable

• Current LVR/CPR, First Aid and Working at Heights certificates

• Valid Australian C-Class Driver’s Licence

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

• Strong knowledge of Rio Tinto electrical standards and AS/NZS 3000

• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams

• A strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
