Cook

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our busy health care catering team. In this rewarding role, you will help prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals that support the health, recovery, and wellbeing of our patients.

Working on a rotating roster across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, you will thrive in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment where attention to detail, food safety, and teamwork are essential. • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with recipes, menu plans, and patient dietary requirements.
• Assist in the timely production of breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
• Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and portioned to a high standard.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and infection control practices.
• Work collaboratively with the catering team to meet meal service schedules and patient needs.
• Assist with stock rotation, food storage, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
• Support a positive patient experience through quality food preparation and service.

• Previous experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen, healthcare, aged care, hospitality, or catering environment.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A genuine commitment to supporting patient care through quality nutrition.
• Relevant food handling or food safety qualifications
