Associate, Private Lending (Learn and Earn)

Most people fall into private lending by accident, after years in a bank doing something adjacent. That is a waste of time. This role teaches it deliberately, from the desk, next to the people writing the loans.

You do not need a book. You do not need lending experience. You need to be sharp, hungry and coachable.

The apprenticeship

You will learn how private credit actually works, in the order it happens:

How a deal is qualified, and how to kill a bad one early Security, valuations, and what a lender is really looking at How credit thinks, and why deals get declined Documents, conditions, and getting money to settlement How brokers choose a lender, and how to become the one they call

The job

Take scenarios as they come in and run the first pass Chase valuations, documents and conditions until deals are clean Keep the pipeline current on our platform Support settlements end to end Then start originating your own deals, with the principal beside you

The earn

A base salary from day one, plus uncapped commission on everything you originate, from your first settlement. No ceiling. The full commission schedule is confirmed in writing before you commence. Do this well and it becomes your own desk, your own broker panel and your own book.

Who This Is Built For

Early career and ambitious. Bank or broker support staff, credit or settlements assistants, recent graduates, or a strong sales performer who wants a professional trade instead of a churn job Comfortable on the phone and in front of brokers Organised enough to run a pipeline without being chased Right to work in Australia Highly regarded: any exposure to mortgages, finance or property, and comfort with AI tools

This is not an admin seat. You will be given real deals early and judged on whether they settle.

Your first months

Month one: you know the box, you can qualify a scenario, and you are running files Month three: you are trusted with live deals and talking to brokers directly Month six: you are originating, with settlements and commission of your own
