About the role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and motivated Civil Plant Operators to join our Infrastructure team in South Australia.
Based out of our Para Hills West office, this role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of infrastructure projects throughout metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.
You'll operate a range of civil machinery, work alongside a skilled team, and contribute to the construction and installation of critical fuel systems and civil projects across the state.
This is a hands-on role that combines machine operation with civil construction activities and provides ongoing opportunities to develop your skills within a growing industry.
ResponsibilitiesOperating a range of machinery including 1.8T to 25T excavators, skid steers, and rollers.
Trenching, bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, and general civil construction works.
Working safely around underground services, machinery, and other site personnel.
Assisting with fuel tank and fuel system installations as required.
Following site plans, project specifications, and WHS requirements.
Maintaining machinery and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
Travel to regional areas as required.

Competitive hourly rates - $40.00 - $50.00 per hour + Overtime + Allowances.

Some of the below are key areas that may contribute to success; however, PSA provides ongoing training and development opportunities for the right candidates:
Current unrestricted driver's licence is essential.
HR licence or above is highly desirable.
White Card.
Experience operating excavators, skid steers, rollers, or similar civil plant.
Relevant machinery tickets are desirable but not essential.
Experience working around underground services and pipelines.
Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Willingness to travel and work overtime when required.
