About the role

Join Ventia as our Group Reward Manager, leading enterprise reward initiatives across our diverse business.

This is a broad and influential position where you will bring deep expertise across the full reward lifecycle. You will oversee a portfolio spanning remuneration, job architecture, employee benefits, recognition and reward technology.

A major focus will be leading our annual remuneration review across a large and complex workforce. You will bring experience managing end-to-end remuneration review processes at scale, including governance, budgeting, data integrity, stakeholder management and system administration.

You will lead technology enablement across Ventia's reward platforms, helping to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve stakeholder experience. Exposure to SuccessFactors, Workday or a similar large-scale enterprise remuneration system will be highly regarded.

Ventia's Reward Vision for 2026 to 2028 includes an agenda to modernise and transform the reward function through Enterprise-wide Recognition Programs, Employee Benefits Strategy and Optimisation, reward governance uplift and Technology enabled reward processes. You will lead and influence these programs of work that have a direct impact on employee experience. 

This opportunity will join a small but supportive team helping shape the future of reward at Ventia.

Hybrid position with options to base from our Cremorne VIC or North Sydney NSW office locations and work from home. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the end-to-end annual remuneration review across a large, complex organisation.
• Providing expertise across remuneration, job evaluation, benchmarking and pay equity.
• Supporting remuneration matters across multiple business units and diverse workforce groups.
• Leading and transforming to technology enabled reward processes
• Providing reward advice and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Contributing to enterprise initiatives across enterprise-wide recognition programs, employee benefits and other reward programs that have a direct impact on employee experience

About you

• Significant (10+ years) experience across the full remuneration lifecycle.
• Strong experience leading annual remuneration reviews at scale and across multiple business units
• Experience managing remuneration processes through SuccessFactors, Workday or a similar large enterprise system.
• Experience supporting multiple business units or a complex, multi-faceted organisation.
• Strong capability in remuneration benchmarking, job evaluation and pay equity.
• The ability to manage complex stakeholders and balance competing business requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
