About the role

We have an exciting position available for a passionate and customer focused Administration & Weighbridge Officer to join our team in Clayton.  

This customer facing role will enable you to develop invaluable skills in the day to day running of our operations. Hours of work are across a Monday to Friday roster, between the hours 6.45am and 4.00pm

Key duties:

• Manage a computerised weighbridge and associated control of traffic

• Monitor all vehicles entering and leaving site

• Issue dockets and invoices

• Cash handling and EFTPOS transactions

• Oversee the entry of all sub-contractors on site (inductions, PPE etc.)

• Communication via UHF two-way radio

• General office, admin and operational support tasks

• Answer phones and email enquiries

To be considered you must demonstrate:

• Customer service experience

• Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Office products

• Strong administration and numerical skills

• Ability to work autonomously & problem solve

• Be reliable, responsible and hard working

• High attention to detail and can learn new skills quickly

• Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced, busy environment

Attributes & Experience

• Administration/Office assistant experience (essential)

• Weighbridge Operator experience (ideal)

• Knowledge of the waste/recycling, quarry, construction or similar industry (preferred)

• Salary range $75,000 - $85,000pa (incl. Overtime)
