Commercial Construction Site Manager - Townsville and Brisbane

V2R Projects is seeking experienced Site Managers to join our Brisbane and Townsville teams. We are an established commercial construction contractor delivering projects across Queensland with a strong portfolio of work across state and federal government, commercial, defence and health sectors. Our team specialises in technically challenging projects and operational high-compliance environments where safety, quality and security are paramount.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of commercial construction and fit-out projects ranging from $1M to $8M, ensuring safety, quality, and program objectives are consistently achieved.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing client project sites to meet their operational and compliance requirements

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of building and fit-out projects

• Coordinating subcontractors and managing construction sequencing

• Managing and updating construction programs, schedules, and daily site activities

• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard

• Monitoring works and conducting regular quality inspections

• Maintaining site safety compliance in line with OH&S requirements

• Proactively identifying and resolving on-site challenges

• Working closely with the Project Manager and broader project team

• Engaging with clients, consultants and other key stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor within commercial construction

• Demonstrated experience delivering building and fit-out projects

• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage multiple trades and meet deadlines

• Solid understanding of construction methodology and subcontractor management

• Strong focus on site safety and quality control

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to operate as a key member of a project team

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Experience on Defence projects is highly regarded

• Ability to meet Defence site access and security requirements, including eligibility to obtain a DCAC pass

• Experience with construction management platforms including Procore and 1Breadcrumb is highly regarded
