Just Country Australia is a long-standing, well established wholesale and distribution company representing leading equestrian, western and outdoor brands across Australia and New Zealand.
With a strong retail and distribution footprint, we are continuing to grow and evolve, and we are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our warehouse team. From servicing wholesale customers and our own retail stores to preparing for major trade show events, our warehouse plays a vital role in keeping our business moving.
About the role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of 25 employees and oversee warehouse operations that support our wholesale customers, retail store network and major trade show events across Australia and New Zealand.
You'll ensure inventory is received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time while driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
As our Warehouse Supervisor, you will:
Lead, coach and develop Warehouse Team Members and Team Leaders.
Coordinate daily warehouse operations to achieve productivity and service targets.
Supervise inbound receipting and outbound despatch functions.
Monitor inventory accuracy and support inventory control processes.
Manage performance, attendance and development conversations.
Maintain high workplace health and safety standards.
Liaise with freight providers and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
About you
You are an experienced warehouse leader who enjoys developing people and leading by example. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in running an organised, efficient operation.
You will bring:
You're a hands-on leader who enjoys leading from the front and supporting your team to succeed.
Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
Strong people leadership, coaching and communication skills.
A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and support your team.
Sound understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control and despatch processes.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Current forklift license and driver's license.
Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills.
Experience with warehouse management systems (Pronto experience is advantageous).
