System Safety and Assurance Consultants

ALARP Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned consultancy delivering specialist expertise in risk and safety management. We provide comprehensive services across governance, risk management, assurance, quality management, and systems safety, supporting clients in the Defence, Aviation, Maritime, Rail, Nuclear, Hydrocarbon, and New Energy sectors throughout Australia.

Our team partners with both government and private organisations to deliver independent assurance, hazard identification and analysis, and the design and implementation of safety and quality management systems. We also assist organisations in developing policies and practices aligned with relevant legislation and industry standards.

We are recruiting consultants for multiple roles across all office locations, suited to a range of experience levels.

Please note, these positions are for System Safety Engineers, and is not a WHSE position.

Our highly qualified and experienced consultants are recognised as industry experts, working on landmark projects throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Opportunities:
We are seeking motivated professionals in system safety, governance, risk, assurance, and measurement, or those aspiring to build a career in these areas, to join our teams in Adelaide, Canberra, Cockburn Central and Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and compliance issues.

• Develop and implement safety management systems and protocols.

• Provide expert advice on safety regulations and best practices.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety systems and make necessary adjustments.

• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.

• Stay updated on the latest safety standards and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Australian citizenship or eligibility to obtain it.

• Engineering or science degree, or a strong technical background.

• Experience in Defence, nuclear, resources, maritime, aviation, or biomedical industries.

• Experience in at least one of the following sectors is sufficient: Defence, Aviation, Maritime, Rail, Nuclear, Hydrocarbon, or New Energy.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Passion for learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Australian Security Clearance or clearance from an allied partner country.
