We're on the hunt for an experienced Sous Chef to join our passionate kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to help drive a successful, high-volume kitchen.

About the role

As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead the kitchen team, maintain exceptional food quality and ensure smooth daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing the kitchen team

• Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards

• Managing food safety and compliance

• Assisting with ordering, stock control and rostering

• Supporting labour and food cost targets

• Driving a positive and efficient kitchen culture

About you

You'll bring:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up

• Experience in a high-volume bistro, pub or restaurant kitchen

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• A passion for producing quality food consistently

• Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations

• Availability to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
