Position: Assistant Accountant Intern - Internship

They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an Assistant Accountant Intern, providing an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or current students to gain practical accounting experience.

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant Intern to join our clients team. This role offers a valuable chance to gain hands-on experience in the accounting field within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and analyse financial statements
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Process and record financial transactions
• Assist with audit preparations
• Conduct research and analysis on financial data
• Contribute to various ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
