What you'll be doing

Working alongside experienced educators, you'll:

• Support children's learning through engaging, play-based experiences.

• Assist in providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.

• Help with daily routines, including meals, rest, personal care and transitions throughout the day.

• Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

• Observe children's learning and contribute to documenting their development under the guidance of experienced educators.

• Help prepare engaging learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity and exploration.

• Follow all health, safety and child protection requirements to ensure the wellbeing of every child.

• Participate in team meetings, professional learning and your Certificate III studies.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.

• Is caring, patient, positive and enthusiastic.

• Is eager to learn, accepts feedback and enjoys working as part of a team.

• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Is committed to completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

• Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Working With Children Check before commencing employment.

• Brings reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude to work every day.
